There is a discrepancy between the date of birth for Charles Henry Wood in the 1900 US census records (1853) and on his headstone (1857).

The parents and the experiences of Charles Henry Wood are unknown before he moved to New Mexico and married Mary Jane Graves. When they married, he was 38 years old and she was 16 or 17 years old (depending on which marriage date is correct. The marriage records in New Mexico list the date of their marriage as 25 Dec 1891. Other records have the date as 1892.
They had 10 children. Three of their children died young.
