Jap Allen, 62, 621 S Julian, died today. Services pending at Tims Funeral Home,

He was born March 11, 1910 at Mangum, OK. He married Bertha Turner in 1929 at Las Cruces, NM. She died Sept 18, 1971. He moved to Altus in 1930 and was a retired business man and a member of the First Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include three sons, Floyd Allen, Monroe Allen and Richard Allen, all of Altus, two daughters, Mrs Mary Ruth Norris, Macon, Georgia and Mrs Alice Faye Purdue, DeFuniak Springs, FL; two step-sons Robert Yocham and Bill Yocham both of Altus; a step-daughter, Mrs Lola Hazelwood, Altus; 35 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Additional survivors are three brothers Hogy Allen, Altus; Bert Allen, Oklahoma City and Arter Allen, Cartwright; and three sisters, Mrs Ethel Bishop, Oklahoma City; Mrs Edna Rines, Altus; and Mrs R B Hartless, Grants Pass, OR.
