w/o Claude W. Riddle:
m/o Five children:
Myrtie was born and raised in Cumberland Co., Kentucky, near Burkesville. A hard working woman, a loving mother and grandmother. She had a wonderful since of humor and enjoyed playing practical jokes. Creative talent, from making clothes from scratch to beautiful quilts, tending her garden, and cooking, which I say, was her trademark.
That's how she made ends meet, before and after, her and grandpa divorced.
Know one ever went hungry when you went to grandmas house. She'd have a feast on the table before you could blink...
For myself, loved her fried pies and sugar cookies.
I remember her giving me my first cup of coffee, though it was mostly milk and a touch of sugar, we would pour a bit of it onto the saucer and sip it.
I know each one of us, in our family have wonderful memories and stories of her. We truly, love and miss you!
Grandma and Grandpa had five children:
Robbie "Bobbie" Lee m. Charles E. Langston
Kenneth W. m. Barbara
Windle W. m. Mary
