Obituary

DIED.--At the residence of his son H. A. Tucker in this city, on Sunday morning, Aug.2nd, 1891, William H. H. Tucker, after a short illness, aged - 77 years and 7 months.
The subject of this obituary was born in Adams county, Ohio, Dec. 5th, 1813. Moved from Ohio to Indiana with his parents when a boy, from there moved to Missouri in 1855, and from there to Iowa in 1860.
Father Tucker leaves four sons to mourn his demise, Joseph, Nathan E, Leonadus (sic) and Herman A. His life companion, three sons and a daughter having preceded him to the better land.
During Father Tucker's thirty odd years residence in this vicinity he has lived an honest upright life, and endeared himself to all who knew him, a fact that was fully testified by the large concourse of friends and neighbors who followed his remains to the cemetery on Monday afternoon last. The children have the sympathy of the entire community in their sad bereavement. Thy pilgrimage is o'er, rest in peace, Father Tucker.
