She was born in Urbana, Il. to A.N. and Della Opal Shroyer Wrather. Survivors include two brothers, Claude Wrather of Rantoul, Il. and Fred Wrather of Ft. Pierce, Florida and one sister, Joan Phenicie of Danville.
She was preceded in death by a brother and six sisters.
Ms. Wrather graduated from Urbana High School and retired as a clerk for the Urbana Savings and Loan. She was a member of the Monticello Rebekah Lodge. She was a past grand chief of Illinois for Pythian Sisters in Marshall.
She loved knitting and crochet and had a special interest in ceramics and Steer Place in Urbana.
