Peggie J. Sinko - Boyle, 60, former administrative assistant for Boeing Aircraft, lost her battle with cancer and went home to be with the Lord Thursday (June 26, 2008) at Homestead Assisted Living, Wichita.
She was a Burrton resident for three and a half years, and was a former Rose Hill resident.
She was born May 9, 1948, at Friendship, Tenn., to Buck and Jean Sumners; they survive.
Growing up on a farm, she was actively involved in 4-H and Future Homemakers of America. She always had a passion for sewing and baking. She entered and won many baking contests with her recipes. She grew up in faith and was raised Methodist. She was a member of Westside Freewill Baptist Church in Wichita for 15 years.
After marrying Milton Boyle on Nov. 20, 2004, and moving to Burrton, she began attending the Burrton United Methodist Church.
She always will be remembered for her love for others, her passion and love for her children and grandchildren and her love of Jesus. She often said her smiles were to show everyone her love of Jesus.
Survivors include husband, Milton Boyle of Burrton; son, Jim Sinko and wife, Heather, of Wichita; daughter, Angela Green of Mulvane; grandchildren, Hailey and Hannah Sinko of Wichita, and David Hatfield Jr. of Mulvane; father, Algie W. 'Buck' Sumners of Pittsburg, Texas; mother Anna J. Sumners of Paris, Mo.; brothers, Bill Sumners and wife, Beth, of Ridgecrest, Calif., and Jim Sumners and wife, Sharon, of Plainview, Texas; sister, Shirley Shropshire and husband, John, of Lubbuck, Texas; three nieces; and one nephew.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Kaufman Funeral Home in Halstead with the family receiving friends from 3 to 4 p.m.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Westside Freewill Baptist Church in Wichita with Pastor Garry Ledbetter officiating.
Burial will be in Burrton Cemetery in Burrton.
Memorials may be given to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in care of the funeral home.

While her family lived in Madison, Mo., Peggie was the president of the Madison 4-H Club. She graduated from Madison High School in 1966.
