Mrs. Leo (Mary Arlene) Decker, 715 S. 6th, Burlington, died at 7:15 Wednesday evening, March 12, 1975 at the Coffey county hospital where she had entered the day before.

She was born July 13, 1923 at Hartford. She had lived at Hartford, Ottawa, and a short time in California before coming to Burlington 27 years ago.

She was married to Leo Decker February 6, 1943 at Los Angeles, Calif. He survives. Also the following children: Mrs. Eldeen Meyer, Shawnee Mission, David Decker, Riverside, Calif., Mrs. Betty Harreld, Missoula, Mont., Dwight Decker, Beverly Decker and Elaine Decker all attending Benedictine college at Atchison and Duane Decker, Denise Decker, Dale Decker and Diana Decker all at home. Also surviving is her father, Vernon Sutton, Burlington; two grandchildren and two step sisters, Mrs. Rose Foley and Mrs. Eula Barnett, both of San Bernardino, Calif.

Arlene was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, the Altar Society and the American Legion Auxiliary.
