Mrs. Decker had worked for the Trail House Restaurant in Burlington, Ila's Flowers and later with her sister as partners at The Image Connection flower shop.
She was born July 3, 1944, in Bethany, Mo., the daughter of Thomas E. "Ted" and Esther Lucille Nirk Mitchell. She was raised in Lamoni, Iowa, where she graduated from high school. She also attended Graceland College in Lamoni. She moved to Burlington in 1967.
Mrs. Decker was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and the Altar Society at the church.
She married James M. Decker on June 1, 1968, in Burlington. He survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Eric Decker and Christopher Decker, both of Burlington; a brother, Larry Mitchell, Des Moines, Iowa; a sister, Ila Knight, Burlington; and two grandsons.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Burlington. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Burlington. A rosary recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at the church will be followed by visitation.
Contributions may be made to the Judi Decker Memorial Fund to be designated later by the family and sent in care of Jones Funeral Home in Burlington.
