MAN HURT IN COLLISION DIES - COUNTY TOLL IS 30
Henry Gentner, 44, died at 8:10 p.m. yesterday at General Hospital of a head injury suffered in an automobile accident Thanksgiving afternoon. He was hurt at Bardstown Road and Fairmount when two cars collided. Five others were hurt in the wreck; which occurred when a car in which Gentner was a passenger collided with one driven by Sammy L. Taylor, 23, of 837 (rear) Jackson, County police said. Taylor was charged with manslaughter. Gentner, a plumber, lived at 1749 Bolling. He was in the Navy in World War II. His death was the 30th traffic fatality in the county this year, compared to 41 recorded this time last year. Gentner is survived by his mother, Mrs. Theresa Hoffmann Gentner; a sister, Miss Elenora Gentner, and two brothers, Joseph L. and Christ B. Gentner.

GENTNER - Mr. Henry L., in his 44th year, passed on at 8:10 p.m. Saturday, November 28, 1949. Residence, 1749 Bolling Ave. Devoted son of Mrs. Theresa Hoffmann Gentner and beloved brother of Miss Elenora Gentner, Mrs. Joseph L. Gentner, and Mrs. Christ B. Gentner. Remains at the Godfrey F. Russman Funeral Home, 1041 Goss Ave. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 o'clock Wednesday morning in the Russman Chapel, and 9 o'clock at St. George Church. Interment in Zachary Taylor National Cemetery.
