1st Lt Dolan was the navigator on B-24L #44-49574, assigned to the 10th Air Force, 7th Bombardment Group, 492nd Bombardment Squadron. They where flying a cargo of gasoline from Tezpur India over the Himalayas to Chengtu air base in China when they crashed under unknown circumstances. All aboard were killed.

He was from Kearny New Jersey.
