Excerpt--Mrs. Jessie Leonie Elsey, 87, of Kingwood, died Wednesday at Hopemont State Hospital. She was born in Greene Co., Pa. March 26, 1885, a daughter of the late Keener and Satirah Dixon Long. She is survived by three sons, Clifford of Fort Ashby, Fred of Kingwood, and Charles of Universal City, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Winifred (Lucy) Park of Baker, Hardy County, and Mrs. Emmitt (Mildred) Swan of Reno, Nev.; six brothers, Aubert of McKees Rock, Pa., Andrew of Morgantown, Frank of Venetia, Pa., Kenneth of Portland, Ore., Arthur of Baltimore, Md., and Kramer of Rowlesburg; two sisters, Mrs. Amy Wotring of Deerfield Beach, Fla., and Miss Bernice Long of Baltimore, Md.; also four grandchildren. Her husband, Lakin D. Elsey died in 1946. Burial was in the Terra Alta Cemetery.
