Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16, 2009, at Colbert Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009, in the chapel, with burial in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Ministers Charlie James and Tom Tanner.
Mr. Bolton was a member of Hatton Baptist Church. He owned Columbia Neon Sign Co. for more than 40 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a wonderful "Sweet Pea."
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Paul and Alice Looney Bolton.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Bolton; daughters, Melissa Bolton Tanner and husband, Tom, of Kennesaw, Ga., Angela Scott and husband, Todd, of Tuscumbia; three grandchildren, Mason and Grace Ann Tanner and Ivie Scott.
Pallbearers will be David Bolton, Richard Parker, Dale Robinson, Duane Swinney, James Tassin and Anthony Pace. Honorary pallbearers will be Senior Men's Sunday School Class at Hatton Baptist Church and Larry Stowe.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Children's Miracle Network, 1600 Seventh Ave. S., Birmingham, AL 35233.
