Mrs. Marshall passed away at 6:15 p.m. Friday, June 5, 1981, in Tyler County Hospital after an illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Tyler County. Mrs. Marshall was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Marshall of Nederland, and Marvis "Pete" Marshall of Tyler; five daughters, Thelma Walker of Woodville, Sallie Richardson of Alvin, Clellion Miller of Beaumont, Ruth Brentzel of Baytown, and Zita Ramos of Port Arthur; one sister, Kate Kinney of Woodville; 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Serving as active pallbearers were her grandsons, Arvis, Greg, Mike, Mark, Charles A. Boyd, and Todd. Grandsons serving as inactive pallbearers were Alvin, Colvin, Randy, Brent, Rodger, and Marshall.
