Cody preceded her in death in March 2008. She leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Michelle Farr (Frank) of Jonesboro, GA; four sons, Alan Peek (Etta), Michael Peek (Cynthia), Timothy Peek (Demetria) and Reginald Peek, four sisters, Birdie H. Carter of St. Paul, MN, Sara H. Camp (Jimmy); Barbaralene H. Miller (James), and Sherryl H. Bel, GA; brother, John S. Hix, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; sister-in-law, Alpha P.
