WABASH -Robert E. Parson, 55, Rt.3, Wabash, died at 8:05 am Monday in his home. His parents Verlin and Ruby Parson of Urbana,IN are deceased. A life resident of Wabash county, he had worked for a cardboard manufactor in Wabash and later was a semi-driver for Hine Line transport, Burkett, Ind. He was a Korean War veteran, a SSGT in the Army. Survivors include his wife, Patricia,two sons, Gary & Kenneth both of Lafountaine, four daughters, Mrs. Linda (McLaughlin), Wabash, Mrs. Brenda Wilhelm, Kokomo, and Mrs. Donna (Shepard), Peru, Mrs. Judy (Bakehorn),Wabash, two sisters, Mrs. Joyce Emerick, Wabash, & Mrs. Carol Conley, N.Manchester,IN, three brothers, Dean, Ligonier, Max D, Wabash, and Tony, N.Manchester, and seven grandchildren. Services will be at 2PM Thursday at Grandstaff-Hentgen-Miner funeral home, 86 E. Main, Wabash. Friends may call after 4pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Pub. Jan 16, 1984
"Bob" was a descendant of Joshua and Sarah Parson that lived in Perry, Ohio in 1850.
