Mrs. Maggie A. Thomas Jones is the daughter of Willie and Patsiy Sims Thomas, who preceded her in death. She went on to her earthly reward at the Good Samaritan Hospital. At an early age, "Tee" as we called her, professed a hope of salvation and accepted Christ as her personal savior at an early age. She was baptized at Oconee Baptist Church in Stephens, Georgia. Maggie was married to the love of her life, Willie Henry Jones in Maxeys. After relocating to Dayton, OH, she served as a volunteer nursery worker and a Senior Usher until her health would no longer permit it. Tee took care of her family and was a remarkable wife, sister, mother and friend.

Her loving and devoted husband Will Henry is left to cherish the sweet moments they shared together along with their loyal children: Agnes (Charles) Terrell, Willie, Jr., Bobby, L. Jones, David Jones and Delores A. Jones; her brother, Willie D. Thomas; sister, Fannie Lillian Dillard; her grandchildren, a beloved great-aunt, Mrs. Tae Sims Davenport; sister-in-law, Mattie Dupree; brother-in-law, Joe Cochran; daughters-in-law, Jeanette C. Jones and Diana L. Jones; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Her celebration of life was held at the Mount Enon Missionary Baptist Church on West Third Street in Dayton, Ohio, on Friday, January 9, 1987. Pastor J. F. Cunningham officiated. Pallbearers: The Official Board of Mount Enon Baptist Church. Flower Bearers: The Senior Usher Board. McLin Funeral Chapel, Northern Hills.

Update: Her former father-in-law, Will Henry Jones, Sr. passed away on November 2, 2014, and is buried there also. Findagrave ID 138317144
