John Dalton 'Jack' Hannah, 72, of Collierville, retired inspector for the Postal Service, died Monday in Collierville. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Church of the Incarnation with burial in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Collierville Funeral Home has charge.

He was a Korean War veteran, an Eagle Scout, a member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce, the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, the National Association of Retired Postal Inspectors, the Special Citizens Volunteer Patrol with the Collierville Police Department, the Lion's Club and the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association.

Mr. Hannah, the husband of Barbara Hannah for 49 years, also leaves two daughters, Sandra H. Lillie of Brentwood, Tenn., and Judith E. Koonce of Jackson, Tenn.; four sons, Gregory K. Hannah of Northville, Mich., John C. Hannah of Cordova, Paul P. Hannah of Brentwood and Richard R. Hannah of Lakeland; a brother, Todd G. Hannah of Ocala, Fla., and 17 grandchildren.

The family requests that memorials be sent to Saint Francis Hospice or the Church of the Incarnation Building Fund.
