Funeral services are pending at O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home for Mrs. Loretta Johnson, 69, of 1425 Burton Ave., who died at Schoitz Memorial Hospital Wednesday at 5:40 a.m.
She was born in Muscatine County May 9 1888. She was married to Harry Edwin Johnson in Maquoketa December 31, 1908. He preceded her in death on April 16, 1952.
She was a resident of Waterloo for the past 48 years and for the past 38 years was a pastry cook at Black's Tearoom.
She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lorene Taber, 742 Evans Road, Evansdale; two grandchildren; one great grandchild; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Cartee, Clinton; Mrs. Amelia Wynkoop and Mrs. Margaret LaHal both of Dewitt; five brothers, Frank Kosnopfal, Rochester, Minnesota; James and Charles Kosnopfal, both of Dewitt and Joseph and Harry Kosnopfal of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, two sisters and two daughters.
