Memorial service for Russell W. Adkins, 36, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hillyard Baptist Church. Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.


Mr. Adkins died Saturday from complications due to AIDS.


He was born in Newport, Wash..


He worked as a carpet and vinyl installer for 12 years and had lived in Spokane since 1965.


He was a member of Hillyard Baptist Church.


He is survived by his parents, Millard and Clara Adkins of Spokane; three brothers, Rodger Adkins of Kennewick, Ron Adkins of Springdale, Wash., and Rick Adkins of Newman Lake; and a sister, Sheila Brock of Ford, Wash.


Memorial contributions may be made to Hillyard Baptist Church.
