Donna Jean Passed away on September 4, 2019 in Forest Grove, Oregon
Donna Jean was born in Portland, Oregon on March 14, 1936 to Eugene and Nettie Hodgson.
After graduation from Lewis & Clark with a degree in education she married Warren Young and had a daughter, Robin. She continued her education while teaching and received her Master’s in education at Oregon State University. She taught school since 1958 and retired in 1990. She was involved with many committees on the state and district levels for the schools of Oregon.
Donna Jean was very active in many Fraternal Organizations: Order of Eastern Star, Order of the Amaranth, White Shrine, Ladies Oriental Shrine, Daughters of the Nile and Job’s Daughter International.
Donna Jean is survived by her grandchildren; Monica, Veronica and husband, Jeff; great grandchildren; Roxsanne, Coleman and Mallory-Jean.
Donna Jean was preceded in death by her husband; John and daughter; Robin.
A Service will be held at the Canby Funeral Chapel on Monday, September 16, at 10 am. Visitation will start at 9 am.
