Katherine Frost Austin, 79, cherished wife and beloved mother, passed away Monday, Jan. 12, 2009, at home.
Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Friday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
Katherine was born Aug. 9, 1929, in Keller to Pauline and James Jewett. She was formerly married to Snow Frost for 52 years; he preceded her in death. She was then married to Clifford Austin for 11 wonderful years. She was a dedicated, loving woman and a free spirit. Katherine was a retired LVN and nursing home administrator.
Survivors: Husband, Clifford Austin; daughters, Sandy Frost and Jackie Mitchell and husband, Rick; son, Roy Frost and wife, Jan; brother, Elliott Jewett and wife, Dorothy; sister, Sandra Dodson and husband, William; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
