Jura Roberts - Floydada (Special) - Services for Jura Roberts, 93 of Floydada will be at 2:30 p.m. today in new Salem Primitive Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Jackson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Floyd County Memorial Park under the direction of Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home. She died at 4:07 p.m. Friday in Floydada Nursing Home after an illness. She was born in Erath County and moved to Floydada in 1927 from Childress. She married Harmon W. Roberts in February 1922 in Crosby County. She was a homemaker and a member of New Salem Primitive Baptist Church. Her husband died on Jan. 12, 1971. Survivors include a son, Johnny of Happy; a daughter, Gladys Jones of Floydada; two sisters, Mildred Fuqua of Abilene and Oma Mullins of Fort Worth; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild."
