Funeral services for Robert Williamson will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2009, at 11:00 A.M. at Chunky Baptist Church with the Reverend Wayne Campbell officiating.
Burial will be in Chunky Cemetery.
Mr. Williamson, 47, of Chunky, died Sunday, January 11, 2009 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
He was a member of the Board of Alderman for the Town of Chunky. He was a member of Chunky Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon and was a Sunday School Teacher of the Joyful Seekers Sunday School Class.
Survivors include: his wife: Donna Sue Williamson of Chunky; his daughter: Jennifer, and her husband, Leon "Scooter" May of Magee; his son: John Robert Williamson of Chunky; his father: Willie B. "Bill" Williamson of Mendenhall; his sister: Robyn, and her husband, Eddie Havard of Starkville; his brother: Jimmy and his wife, Lisa Williamson of Pontotoc; 13 nieces and nephews; and one great-nephew;
He was preceded in death by his mother: Sula Faye Rigdon Williamson.
Pallbearers will be: Gary Barber, Jacky Johnson, Roger Shirley, Ken Skelton, Toby Embrey, Dwayne Reynolds, Billy Gressett, and Steve Felton.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 13, 2009 from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
