The Rev. William C. Bloomquist, 80, of 1637 Winona st., a retired Methodist minister, died yesterday in his home. He formerly was district superintendent of the Chicago area of the Methodist church and field secretary of Wesley academy and seminary. He is survived by his widow, Judith M., and by six daughters and three sons. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Bethany Methodist church at Ashland and Winnemac avs.

Resting at funeral home, 3918 Irving Park road. Services at Bethany Methodist church, Ashland and Winnemac, Wednesday at 2 p.m. Interment Ridgewood Cemetery. Remains lying in state at church from 12 noon to 2 p.m.
