Agda Klinke, 81, died Wednesday, January 8, 2003 at Northwest Medical Center, Thief River Falls, MN.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 8, 2003 at the Faith Lutheran Brethren Church in Thief River Falls, MN with Rev. George Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Thief River Falls, MN.

Visitation will be Friday from 4-8 PM at the Johnson Green Funeral Home in Thief River Falls with a Prayer Service at 6:00 PM on Friday. Visitation will also be held for one hour prior to the services in the church on Saturday.

Agda Margaret Nelson was born January 6, 1922 to Emil and Nora (Ness) Nelson in Clearbrook, MN. She moved to Fosston, MN with her parents in 1928, where she attended school. She married Alan Wesley Klinke on April 15, 1939 and lived in Lengby, MN. They moved to Fairbanks, Alaska in 1959 and later to Renton and Kent, Washington. She later moved back to Minnesota in1969. She worked at various nursing homes as a charge nurse in Colfax and Spokane. In 1971 they moved to Thief River Falls, MN in 1971 and she worked at Oakland Park for several years. She finally went to work at Arctic Enterprises for ten years. She also worked at the Grafton State School and for Pennington County, doing home services and also Tri Valley out of Crookston.

She enjoyed gardening, reading, her bird Tweetie, and spending time with family.

Survived by four daughters: Ranae Green, Thief River Falls, MN; Cheryl (Ricky) Boutain, Fargo, ND; Dawn Olson, Thief River Falls, MN; Lorna (Charles) Snailum, Battleground, WA; four sons Ronald (Janet) Klinke, Fosston, MN; Ross (Anita) Klinke, Fosston, MN; Loren (Sue) Klinke, Steptoe, WA; Richard (Delorus) Klinke, Wrangell, AK; 33 grandchildren, and 43 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a son Donald Leroy Klinke and her husband Allan Klinke in October of 1998, two brothers, Selmer and Edwin Nelson, and her parents, granddaughter Christi, and a grandson Lance Klinke.
