Harold A. Keeler, 76, of Red Lake Falls, MN died Saturday, June 2, 2007 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday June 9, 2007 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Red Lake Falls, MN with Rev. Gary Graff officiating. Burial will follow at Sorum Cemetery in Erskine, MN.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, June 8, 2007 with a 7:00 PM prayer service at Bethany Lutheran Church. Visitation will also be held for one hour prior to the funeral.

Harold Alfred Keeler was born August 2, 1930 in Marshalltown, Iowa the son of Harry David and Bertha Ernestina (Pagel) Keeler. He was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran faith and attended schools in Iowa and Wisconsin.

He was united to Sarah Bailey and to this union 8 children were born, Patrick, Johnathan, Peggy, Penny, David, Sarah, Hal, and Donald.

On June 4, 1983 Harold was united in marriage to Lorraine (Hallebrot) Kelly at Bethany Lutheran Church in Red Lake Falls, MN, where the couple has continued to reside.

Harold worked small engine repair, was custodian of Park Place Mall for a number of years, worked at Thibert's Chevrolet, Wayne Haselton's Body Shop, Crookston and Grand Forks beet plants, hauled scrap iron, worked for numerous farmers, was foreman of the turkey plant in Frazee and Johnson's Gas Station in Erskine.

He enjoyed bingo, cribbage, smear, watching old TV shows, collected train sets, model cars, trucks and numerous other vehicles and also played the accordion. Harold was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife, Lorraine "Lori" Keeler of Red Lake Falls; children, Pat Keeler of Shoreview, MN, Peggy (Les) Freer of Tower, MN, David (Trisha) Hartsock of Carlsbad, NM, Sarah (Ron) Fisher of Mason City, IA, Hal (Melinda) Hartsock of Oklahoma City, OK, Donald (Iris) Hartsock of Carlsbad, NM, Sheila (Tom) Steffen of Silverton, OR, Melissa (Roy) Klipping of Red Lake Falls, MN; 35 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; sister, Edna (Dan) Taborsky of Helena, MT; daughter-in-law, Fayne Keeler of Erskine, MN; son-in-law, Bob Lamar of Ballwin, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Harry, Fred and Donnie; 4 sisters, Myrtle, Bertha, Opal and Dorothy; son, John Keeler; and daughter, Penny Lamar.
