Talmas ONeal Gatlin of Enterprise, AL passed away, Thursday, May 14, 2009 at his home. He was 83.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 16, 2009, at Searcy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Cardwell officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Elba with Searcy Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until service time.
Mr. Gatlin was precede in death by his wife, Inez Gatlin; his parents, Thomas Jefferson Jeffie and Alice Mae (Wooten) Gatlin; an infant daughter, Rachel Ann Gatlin.
Survivors include 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Wayne and Patti Gatlin, Daphne, AL, Travis ONeal Gatlin, Enterprise, AL; 4 grandchildren, Stacey Gatlin, Amy Gatlin Taylor, Amanda Gatlin Knapstein, Zachary Wayne Gatlin, Jr.; 5 great-grandchildren, Chase Knapstein, Eva Knapstein, Smith Knapstein, Madison Taylor, Ford Taylor; sister and brother-in-law, Alice Faye (Dot) and Eldon L.
