R. D. Danner, aged 21, died Friday morning at 8 o'clock at his home at 1811 Brokton avenue, Villa Heights, following an illness of two years with tuberculosis. Funeral services will be conducted at the home at 10 o'clock Saturday morning by Rev. J. A. Downs, pastor of the Christian Advent church. Burial will follow in Elmwood cemetery.
Surviving the young man are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Danner of this city; five sisters, Mrs. J. Y. Buchanan, Wilson; Mrs. A. L. Goode, Winston-Salem; Mrs. R. W Edminston, Asheville; Mrs. Fred Austin, of Virginia; and Miss Essie May Danner, of Charlotte; and four brothers, C. L. Danner, of Elizabethtown; J. H., C. M. and Clarence Danner, of Charlotte.
