Goldie Mary Laske, 80, a resident of Golden Age Care Center, Centerville, died Friday, April 5, 1985 (Good Friday) at the care center. Born Jan. 30, 1905 in Jacksonville, MO, she was the daughter of Charles and Sarah Hinton Butler. She was united in marriage to Albert Laske on July 10, 1924. Those who preceded her in death were her parents, her husband on May 25, 1959, a daughter, Mary Lou Tracy, four brothers and one sister.
Survivors included a son, Robert Charles Laske of Grandview; a daughter Bonnie Jean Fry of Canutillo, TX; 10 grandchildren; one great grandchild and a special friend, Bert Johnson of Numa.
Services will be held Tues., April 9, at 2 p.m. at Duley Funeral HOme in Centerville, with Hazel Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be this evening from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. A memorial may be given to the Numa Christian Church.
