Ruby was born in Sawyer, Oklahoma to Carson E. & Myrtle L. (Jackson) Bateman. She has lived in several places including Konawa before moving to Sulphur in 1936. She was married to William Brown Griffin on May 14, 1931 at Coalgate, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death November 15, 1995. She was a member of the Vinita Ave. Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by a daughter Shirley Ann Corona, one brother and one sister. Survivors: Daughter: Peggy Jo Turner of Oklahoma City, 4 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren.
Services: Saturday January 10 at 1:00PM at the Vinita Ave Church of Christ. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
