Funeral service for Mr. Robert Lee Frederick Sr., age 74, of Nacogdoches will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 2006, at Laird Funeral Home with Bro. Don Sheffield, Bro. Rick Linebarger and Bro. Jerry Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery. Mr. Frederick died Thursday, July 6, 2006, in Nacogdoches. Born September 18, 1931, in Nacogdoches, he was the son of Dollie Lunsford Frederick and Clyde Lee Frederick. He served his country during the Korean conflict in the U.S. Army. As a loyal employee for over 31 years, Mr. Frederick retired as senior operator of Allied Signal Chemical Plant. He loved to garden and build things, but above all he loved being with his family. Mr. Frederick was a member of Westside Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Ramona Beck Frederick; sons, Eddy and Casey Roberts of Nacogdoches, Robert Lee Frederick Jr. and David Hoffman of Houston, Christopher Aaron Frederick of Houston and David Shane and Shary Frederick of Douglass; daughter, Jacquetta Calverley of Houston; brothers, L.C. and Molly Frederick of Nacogdoches and Langston and Margie Frederick of Orange; sisters, Earlene Marze of Lufkin and Maxene and Albert Bonner of Fairfield; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to Westside Missionary Baptist Church, 3109 Durst Street, Nacogdoches, Texas 75961. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2006.
