Robert Tinnen, 69, of Yakima died Tuesday.
Mr. Tinnen was born in Ravanna, Mo., and moved to Yakima in 1998 from California where he had made his home. He served in the Navy for 16 years and then worked as a welder.
Survivors include his mother, Jewell Waddill of Yakima; a brother, Bill Tinnen of Yakima; and a sister, Shirley Garcia of Richland.
At his request, there will be no services.
