Junior W. Gwinn
Pauline-Junior W. Gwinn 67, of Pauline Rte. #1 died at 1 p.m. Friday in a Spartanburg hospital following a brief illness.
A native of Spartanburg Co., Mr. Gwinn was a son of the late Henry and Roda Jennings Gwinn. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Irene O'Shields Gwinn; five daughters, Mrs. Nellie Peeler and Mrs. Margie Hayes of Pauline, Mrs. Rosa Peeler and Mrs. Rebecca Graham of Roebuck, Mrs. Mary Skinner of Woodruff Rte. 2; six sons, Woodrow Gwinn of Pauline Rte. 1, Christopher, Tanner and Boyd Gwinn of Spartanburg, J.W. Gwinn of Spartanburg Rte. #7, and Nesbitt Gwinn of Woodruff; two sisters, Mrs. Smith O'Sheilds of Pauline Rte. #1 and Miss Una Gwinn of Spartanburg; 27 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 4 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church by the Revs. W. M. Page, Jr., Alfred O'Shields, Cullen Cook and C. B. Prince. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
