Graveside funeral services and interment for LaVonne E. Coet were conducted Wednesday, Oct. 18, at the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens with Pastor James D. Miller officiating.

Pallbearers were Charles Legros, Kari Schafer, Joe Santi, Ed Stolns, Allen Bertoch and Bobby Coet.

Mrs. Coet, 70, of 1120 North St., Reliance, died shortly after being admitted to the Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County at 6:02 a.m. Monday, Oct. 16, 1989.

A resident of Reliance for the past 25 years and former resident of Rock Springs, Mrs. Coet died following a brief illness. She was born in Cainsville, Mo., on June 18, 1919, the daughter of the late Steve and Sylvia Baker Samansky. She attended schools in Missouri and LaFayette, Colo., and married George Coet in Lafayette on July 6, 1940. Mrs. Coet was a retired wool presser and silk finisher having worked for George and Edward Shineberg in Rock Springs for 20 years.

Survivors include her husband, George Coet of Reliance; one daughter, Mrs. Allen (Donna) Bertoch of Salt Lake City; one brother, Steve Samansky of Mesa, Ariz.; one sister, Betty Scott of Denver; one granddaughter, Jeannine Marietti of Costa Mesa, Calif., and several nieces and nephews.
