OBITUARY: Manti Messenger Saturday 8 December 1900
FOUNTAIN GREEN
Since last writing we have had two deaths here. Tuesday November 20th, William Livingston died very suddenly of heart failure. During his lifetime he was a very healthy man, scarcely ever sick, and it was a great surprise when it was learned that he had passed away. He was about 50 years of age and had lived here about 20 years. Deceased was an honest and respected citizen. Those remaining to mourn his loss among the family is a wife who is in poor health, together with eleven children, among whom is Attorney Livingston of Manti. The funeral services were held in our meeting house November 22nd. The speakers on this occasion were Reuben Carter, Rees R. Lewellyn, and J. M. Jensen. Our church choir furnished the singing. There was a large turn out of citizens who attended the services, among them were many strangers. Bishop ??? of Sandy dedicated the grave as a resting place for the remains of our departed brother.
