JAMES BACHMAN
Funeral services for James J. Bachman, 73, 275 Bramwell, Green River, will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. at Francom and Smith Mortuary, Green River, the Rev. Carl Drusi officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Bachman, a resident of Green River since 1945 died Wednesday, at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County.
Born Jan. 22, 1898, at Council Bluffs, Iowa, he was the son of Daniel N. and Alta May Dollerhide Bachman. He married Helen Black Nov. 6, 1923, at Council Bluffs.
He had worked as a lineman for Iowa Power and Light Co. until his retirement in 1945, when he moved to Green River. He was a member of the Electrical Workers' Union Local 763.
Surviving are his wife of Green River; one daughter, Mrs. Anita Seliers of Green River; one brother, Millard Bachman of Council Bluffs; two sisters, Mrs. Francis Weiss of Spring Valley, Calif. and Mrs. Clara Abel of Council Bluffs, and one grandson.
