She lived in Laurens County and Newberry most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Will and Lucy Maynard Colvard. She was a retied employee of Clinton Mill and was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Louise Frazier and Mrs. Norma Jean Hamilton of Joanna; four sons, W. C, Curtis and Claude Holbert of Clinton, and Dallas Holbert of Joanna; three sisters, Mrs. Lucille Waters and Mrs. Clyde Laney of Clinton and Pearl Adkins of Warrington, Ga.; a brother Jack Colvard of Honea path; and one grandchild and a great-grandchild.
Funeral Services will be Thursday at 5 p.m. in the Church of God of Prophecy on Floan Street. Burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery.
