Albion - M. David Gorsuch, age 79, longtime Albion resident and dairy farmer died on Tuesday morning, October 25, 2011 at 10:14 AM at North Ridge Village Nursing Home in Albion.

Mr. Gorsuch was born on October 26, 1931 in LaGrange, Indiana and was the son of Kenneth and Henrietta (Walton) Gorsuch.

On June 2, 1956 he married Lora Lee Blomeke at the United Brethren Church in Albion. She survives in Albion.

A resident of Albion for 64 years, he was a dairy farmer who enjoyed traveling, fishing, camping, and most of all spending time with his family. He also loved watching Indiana University sports and was a big fan of the Yankees.

Mr. Gorsuch was a veteran of the United States Navy, and served during the Korean War. He was a member of American Legion Post 246 in Albion, 40 & 8 Post 642, and the V.F.W. He also attended and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Albion.

Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Lora Lee Gorsuch of Albion, two sons and daughters in law, Garry and Kim Gorsuch of Albion and Gregg and Rhonda Gorsuch of Albion. Grandchildren, Ryne Gorsuch, Justine (T.C.) Warren, Jessie Gorsuch, Kelsey Gorsuch, Jorden Gorsuch, and Jared Gorsuch. Two sisters, Bertha (David) Zawadzke of Wolcottville, and Louetta McClanahan of Florissant, Missouri.

He is perceded in death by his parents, a sister, Mary Jo Birch and a brother, Gene Gorsuch.

Funeral services for Mr. Gorsuch will be Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Trinity United Methodist Church in Albion. Rev. Bret Frymier will officiate.

Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday at Brazzell Funeral Home, Albion Chapel. Theres is also one hour of visitation prior to the funeral.

Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Albion. Pallbearers will be Ryne Gorsuch, Jared Gorsuch, T.C. Warren, Tony Blomeke, Ron McClanahan, and Mike Zawadzke. Honorary pallberarers will be Darrell McClanahan, Steve Zawadzke, and Charles Blomeke.
