The Wellington Leader November 19, 1936

Funeral services for Tom Wall, 40, of the Aberdeen Community, were held Friday afternoon, Nov, 12, in the Dozier Church at 3 o'clock.

A prominent farmer and rancher of the Aberdeen Community, Mr. Wall was widely known over the entire Panhandle including a host of friends in Collingsworth County. He had resided in the Aberdeen Community since birth and was the son of the pioneer family of W. T. Wall. Many old settlers in this section have known Mr. Wall since childhood, while other persons over the county grew up with him.

Reared in the days when cattle raising furnished the chief industry
for Collingsworth County, Mr. Wall spent his life in a community
which was founded upon ranching. As a rancher, he loved his work
tremendously and was considered a good cowman.

Although he had been in poor health for several years, his death came as a shock to his family and friends. He died suddenly at his
home Thursday night. Mr. Wall is survived by his wife, mother and four sisters, Mrs. A. J. Laycock of Shamrock, Mrs. John Lenox, of Albuquerque, Mrs. Clyde Bird of Amarillo and Mrs. Marie Shaw of Aberdeen.
