Mr. Joseph Sanders Murray, born May 17, 1871, passed away Feb. 2, 1957, at Bertha's Rest Home, Hardinsburg. He had been in ill the past 18 months. He was born in Meade Co. the son of Calvin Murray and Bittie Chism Murray.
His wife preceded him in death. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. D. V. Crawford and Mrs Ferd Crawford of Battletown, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Funeral serrvices were held at Sturgeon Funeral Home Feb 3. Conducted by Rev. Hilton Olive. Burial was in Cap Anderson Cemetery directed by Sturgeon Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Donald Eugene Crawford, Louis Adran Crawford, George Hardin, Mr Deats, Estill Chism and Hubert Hardin.
