Mrs. Ida Mae Lawrence McNanney, 83, Steedman, died at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Callaway Hospital. She had been a patient at the Modern Acres Nursing Home for some time.
Funeral services will be held at the Pleasant Hill Church at Portland at 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Winford Conley officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Maupin Funeral Home.
Mrs. McNanney was born on November 5, 1875, in Callaway County, the daughter of Joseph and Margaret Martin Polacek. She was first married to Brown Lawrence, who preceded her in death. She later married Jason McNanney, who also preceded her in death.
Surviving are three children, Ralph and Floyd Lawrence of Steedman and Mrs. Amanda Russell of Portland; three brothers, Joe Polacek of Portland, Charley Polacek of Castana, Iowa, and Fred Polacek of Steedman; and a sister, Mrs. Josephine Illig of St. Charles, Mo. Also 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
