East Liverpool Review OBIT. EAST LIVERPOOL – BETTY M. BAYLESS, 77, of Y & O Road went to be with the Lord at 2:12 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, 2008, at East Liverpool City Hospital.
Born Sept. 11, 1931, in East Liverpool, a daughter of the late George and Melvina Woomer Donahue, she was a homemaker most of her life and attended Yellow Creek Presbyterian Church.
She loved to attend meetings of Lamplighters, R-Weigh and the Red Hat Society, and she was active in two card clubs for more than 50 years.
Her hobbies were sewing, delivering for Meals on Wheels and collecting Betty Boop memorabilia.
Surviving at home is her husband, Edwin D. Bayless, whom she married April 9, 1950.
She is also survived by daughters Diana Lynn Neville of Columbiana and Karen Madden and her husband, Randy, of New Braunfels, Texas, and a son, Mark Bayless and his wife, Susan, of East Liverpool.
She is survived by a brother, Melvin Donahue and his wife Connie of Webster, Texas, and sisters Dora Campbell of Wellsville, Margaret King of Las Vegas, Nev., and Jane Boucher and her husband, Maurice, of East Stroudsburg, Pa.
She also is survived by her sisters-in-law, Mickey Lockhart and her husband, Al, of Orange Park, Fla., and Norma Jean Riggs of Corona, Calif., and brothers-in-law John Bayless and his wife, Susan, of Ravenna, Ohio, Skip Bayless and his wife, Camile, of Aurora, Ohio, and Bernard Bayless of Ravenna, Ohio.
Her mother-in-law, Mariam Bayless of Ravenna, Ohio, survives as well.

Grandchildren are Erin Witherow, Tyler Bayless, Andy Bayless, Brittany Neville, Ashley Chenoweth and Kristen Culp.
Great-grandchildren are Trinity Lynn Chenoweth and Kameron Charles Chenoweth.
Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, George Donahue, Jr.
Friends may call Monday afternoon and evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Rev. Derek Marotta of the Yellow Creek Presbyterian Church is to conduct a funeral service on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial is to be in Yellow Creek Cemetery.
Following the service, family and friends will gather for fellowship at the Art Minto Fellowship Hall at the church. Morning Journal Sunday Sept 28, 2008

She was the d/o Melvina Womer and George Donohue, I am Bettys sister. my brother in TX Melvin spells his last name Donehue. and my older brother George jr. was spelled Donohue. Moms Maiden name on some records is spelled Woomer, and her brother spelled his like that, but both their parents Charles and Mary Womers death records are that way, as Womer is spelled on moms marriage record.
