Amos Brockett was the son of Deacon Amos Brockett and Lucy Dutton. He was born in CT., and he was never married.
The 1860 Census says he was born in 1789, but on-line cemetery records are saying 1798. I suspect someone transposed the 89 into 98. The Brockett Genealogy, by Edward J. Brockett, also says he was born in 1789. And the tombstone appears to agree with the 1789 date.
The Tuttle Family Book says he died 20 May 1871 ???
That does not appear to be accurate either.
