Ira Lincoln Marchant's mother was Harriet Huggins Marchant and she died in Vermillion Co., Illinois near Hoopeston on July 23, 1871. So far no find a grave has been found in Illinois for her. After her death, the father of Ira (Samuel A. Marchant) moved to Des Moines County, Iowa and there married Sarah Turner. I can not presently connect Ira to his mother until a location has been found.
