Chris Schulz died Sunday, Sept. 28, aged sixty five years, form the effects of a stroke of paralysis the prior Tuesday. Christena (unreadable possibly Frederic) Schulz was born Nove. 26, 1848, at Behrendorf, Water Neversdorf in Holstein, Germany. He was baptized and confirmed at the Lutheran Church of which he was a faithful member until his death.
In the year 1870, Nov. 26th, he was married to Catharine Magalene Rohrberg. This union was blessed with five sons. He came to America in 1893 and settled at Belmont. He leaves to mourn his death, his widow and four sons: William, Conrad, John and Fred.
Mr. Schulz was an honorable man respected by all who knew him. A good neighbor, a kind friend, and a loving father has gone to his reward.
