July 11, 1895 -- May 30, 1965.
Wistor A. Brandon, 502 E. Main St., died Sunday in a Morganton hospital at the age of 69.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Stacie Brandon; four sons, Robert Brandon of Decatur, Ala., G. W. and Donald Joe Brandon of Dallas and Henry Brandon of Montana; five daughters. Mrs. Eula Childers of Clover, SC, Mrs. Louise McClanahan and Mrs. Ella Kiser of El Paso, Texas, and Mrs. Betty Pannell and Mrs. Ann Purkey of Dallas; two brothers, Bud Brandon of Gastonia and Lister Brandon of Denmark, Sc; two sisters, Mrs. Bell Moss of Hickory Grove, SC, and Mrs. Carrie Bolin of Sharon, SC; 30 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were to be held Thursday at 4 p.m. at Unity Baptist Church, Hickory Grove, SC with burial in the family plot in the church cemetery. Officiating will be Revs. Harold Long and M.J. Cambell
