DeSoto County FLOSSIE VIOLA BENNETT Mrs. Flossie Viola Bennett, 79, of 246 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia, died Friday at her home. Born in DeSoto County, she had lived her entire life in Arcadia. She was of the Baptist faith. She leaves seven sons, James Bruce, J. B., Harley, John K., Cecil, all of Arcadia, G. A. of Houston, Tex., and J. C. of Lafayette, Ind.; three daughters, Mrs. Cornelia Goodwin of Panama City, Mrs. Pansy Berneaur of Union, N.J., and Mrs. April Clody of Arcadia; 31 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Robarts-Grady Funeral Home Chapel in Arcadia, conducted by the Rev. M. D. Durrance. Burial will be at the Joshua Creek Cemetery.
