Funeral Services Held Monday For Roy Campbell
Funeral services were held here Monday for Roy Campbell who died at
his home at Dallas Sunday afternoon after a brief illness. He was 55.
Services were held fro mthe Hassell and Foster Chapel at 2 p.m. with
the Rev. T. L. Slimp officiating. Interment was in Athens City Cemetery.
Born in Henderosn County, Mr. Campbell lived in Athens most of his life.
He had been a resident of Dallas for several years, and was a contractor.
Survivors include four sisters, Mrs. C. C. Ballard of Tyler; Mrs. H. D.
King of Houston, Mrs. W. V. Cumbie of Athens and Mrs. Lulu Hall of Dallas.
