OTTUMA - Elba Agnes Byrum, 83, formerly of Ottumwa, died September 23, 2994, at Twin Pines Adult Care Center, Kirksville, Mo.

She was born June 14, 1921, to Erven and Mary (Welker) White in Missouri. She married Leonard Byrum May 1937. He preceded her in death Oct. 26, 1936.

She lived most of her adult life in Ottumwa. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic church and member of St. Patrick Shurch Altar & Rosary Society. Her favorite past time was baking and was an avid quilt maker.

Surviors include two sons, Richard Byrum and his wife Vikee of Ottumwa, and Don Byrum and his wife Debbie of Kirksville, Mo; daughter, Karen James and her husband Ron of Kirksville, Mo.; 14 grandchildren; and sister, Violet Long of Ottumwa.

She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Larry Byrum daughter, JoAnne Manley; and seven brothers and sisters.

Most of the Resurrection will be 8 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick Catholic Church.

Pallbearers will be Dustin and __ Byrum, Rayond and Mathew White and Ron James.

A memorial fund has been established.
