Kenneth Donald Farris died Tuesday in Noble. He was 63. He was born February 15, 1936 in Konawa. He was the son of Lonzo and Lucille Richards Farris.

He graduated from Konawa High School in 1954. On January 13, 1957 he married Alice Garretson in Tribbey.

From 1962 to 1974 he worked for Ramirez Ent. as a plant manager. He worked at the Air National Guard from 1974 until he retired as a master sergeant in 1992. From 1992-1995 he worked for Tinker Air Force Base. From 1996 until 1997 he worked for Industrial Specialties, Inc. working in government sales.

He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954 until 1962. In 1967, he joined the Masonic Lodge, where he was a 32nd degree Master Mason and was a member of the Macomb Lodge, No. 310.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Paul Wayne Farris.

Survivors include his wife, Alice Farris of the home, two sons and one daughter-in-law, DeWayne Farris of Noble and Jerry and Marysue Farris of Lexington, daughter and son-in-law, Deana and Roy South of Noble, grandchildren, DeWayne, Justin, Aaron, Amanda, Nicholas, Steven and Ryan, two sisters and one brother-in-law, Margaret and C.D. Kesler of Shawnee and Louise Farris of Bakersfield, California, brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Donna Farris of Mustang, aunt, Thelma Ingram of Oklahoma City and numerous other relatives and friends.

Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Cooper Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Donald P. Homady of Liberty Church of God in Oklahoma City. Burial will take place at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Noble.
